Here are the euroGel workshops on the afternoon of Thursday, August 31, 2006.
Thursday, August 31, 14.00-17.00 (2pm-5pm)
Armstrong Miles meeting room at Hotel Skt. Petri, Krystalgade 22, Copenhagen
Workshop leaders:
• Phil Mirvis, organizational psychologist and Gel 2004 speaker, US
• Charlotte Ersbøll, Novo Nordisk, Denmark
• Majken Schultz, Professor, Copenhagen Business School
How do you bring a corporation to life among customers, employees and other stakeholders? This workshop will explore the innovative "experiences" used by Novo Nordisk, a Danish-based global company with a longstanding commitment to defeating diabetes. The efforts we will explore include journeys of senior leaders to inner-city Sao Paulo, and China, the US and Africa - visiting doctors, communities, patients, and their families - to bring an "outside in" perspective to NN and deepen their sense of purpose and the company's brand identity.
Workshop attendees will meet with the designers of these experiences: Charlotte Eborsøl, an executive at Novo Nodisk, and Philip Mirvis, a past Gel speaker and workshop leader. We will also explore how to use experiences to bring your company, project, or dreams to life as well.
Thursday, August 31, 16.00 - 18.00 (4pm-6pm)
Café Enter (directions), Guldbergsgade 29, Copenhagen
Workshop leaders:
• Alexander Kjerulf, the Happiness at Work Project, Denmark
• Roosevelt Finlayson, Co-Developer of the Festival in the Workplace Process, Bahamas
This workshop will demonstrate how to develop happy, creative, passionate and productive employees through the participation in festivals in your organization. We will explore the link between happiness, creativity, passion and productivity; and how to apply it in your organization.
