Zina Saunders at Gel 2009 from Gel Conference on Vimeo.
Great art can come out of frustration, as Zina Saunders shows. Her portraits of overlooked New Yorkers, and American political figures, reflect Zina's passionate view of the world.

interesting to see how your technique evolved in your political work with so much greater precision of expression and much more 'mature' palettes -superb!!!

Grr... my connection screwed up and I missed the tail end of it. But wow, I loved the beginning. I always meet these very odd, interesting people, and there are so many more that I know about, but don't know why they're so eccentric. I'd love to be able to get out of my bubble a little more and learn, and write about them all. I don't know what to ask or say.
